Account Manager (Public Affairs & Policy)
Rheolwr Cyfrifon (Materion Cyhoeddus a Pholisi)
Contract: 2 years, Full time / 35 hours
Salary: £28,000 – £32,000 depending on experience
Closing date: 10.00 Monday 16th January 2023.
Role
The appointed person will lead on policy and public affairs, working with our political monitoring service to ensure that our clients are well informed. This element of the work will involve analysing Welsh Government policy on renewable energy and climate change, desk research for the preparation of local political audits, keeping abreast of relevant Senedd business, and managing key stakeholder relationships.
The appointed person will also support the wider Cadno team to support clients taking major projects into public consultation. This will involve drafting press releases, writing collateral for public consultations, and organising meetings and events.
We are looking for someone who is interested in Welsh politics, renewable energy and climate change issues, and enjoys research. You should be a good communicator, with great organisational capabilities, and a willingness to be flexible – sometimes there are tight deadlines to meet to fulfil the client’s requests.
Your work must be accurate, and you will need to produce excellent written material which is suitable for different audiences – from writing a leaflet that explains a large and complex renewable energy project to a member of the public, to a summary for our clients of a policy document published by the Welsh Government.
How to apply: Send a covering letter and CV to angharad@cadnocomms.co.uk by 10.00 Monday 16th January 2023.
